Jim BrownIn the following sample audio clip, Jim Brown speaks to self-boatbuilder and trimaran sailor Larry of HYBEA. HYBEA is Larry’s 40-foot trimaran … built using the Constant Camber building technique.

Larry shares with Jim how he first got into sailing boats and then found out that he could learn how to build his own multihull by taking a class taught by Jim and John Marples at the WoodenBoatSchool in Maine in the late 1980s. He has been enjoying the vessel ever since!

In the full audio, Larry discusses about some of his great sailing experiences and the way his life has been influenced by the boats he has sailed – particularly this large cruising trimaran.
